North-western Kungsholmen will undergo major change in the next few years. The aim is to shift the boundaries of the city centre to the west. New housing and office buildings are being built and older, industrial properties are being torn down or transformed into modern workplaces. Furthermore, the parks in the area are being rejuvenated and the street Lindhagensgatan is being transformed into a beautiful boulevard, with bike and foot paths. Plenty of restaurants, shops and other services are setting up in the area.
